New Podcast Series Launches to Empower Listeners on Flood Resilience


A ground breaking new podcast series, “Rising Waters” funded by the North East Regional Flood and Coastal Committee has been launched. The podcast is designed to inspire, inform, and empower listeners about flood resilience. It offers personal stories, volunteer experiences, and professional
insights into the often-unseen world of flood management and recovery. The first episode was posted on 29th January 2025 and will make it easy for busy audiences to access tips and actionable strategies to increase their flood resilience.

– Steps to build and sustain a community flood group.
– Behind-the-scenes insight into incident response and decision-making.
– Practical advice on property flood resilience.
