What did we do in 2022?
In 2022 we made a start to the project by:
- Holding co-creation workshops with the community to begin the process to agree a project vision
- Reducing invasive species with local schools and youth clubs removing Himalayan Balsam
- Organising community Litter Picks with Stanley Town Council
- Engaging residents in practical volunteering creating leaky dams to slow the flow of water in the Stanley Burn
Thanks to everyone who supported the project during 2022.
In 2023 we are aiming to return with more of the same and more ways for residents of Stanley South to get involved.
