On our first litter pick in East Stanley volunteers collected six bags of rubbish despite the area looking tidy. Our most interesting find was an unopened pack of bacon which was still in date. Thanks to the volunteers who helped and to our friends at Derwentside Athletic Club, NDA Community and especially Stanley Town Council who made this happen.
